Just over 10 years ago, back in the summer of 2015, room-scale VR was still experimental. Very few people outside of hardware labs had tried walking, crawling, or ducking their way through a virtual world. Most VR experiences used teleportation or seated controls.
Triangular Pixels is helping to develop a set of sensory environments the new Cornwall NHS Foundation Trust unit, Sowenna.
The unit provides inpatient treatment for young people aged between 13 and 18, and offer an environment where young people may be assessed and treated for mental health problems.

In late March we were very pleased to be invited to a Sony exclusive press event featuring PSVR. We showed our game, Smash Hit Plunder, to national and international press, letting them having a chance to play through both single and multiplayer. Being able to do this demo meant that everyone could get a feel for the game’s unique medieval style and tactile environment, and a lot of fun was had!
