Play the first ever game to combine both Valve’s HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift VR systems in one intense collaborative challenge!
GameCity is VERY excited to announce a unique, special event created by Triangular Pixels! Playable only at GameCity Festival, Nottingham, 24th – 31st October.
Developed by Triangular Pixels, the team behind last year’s Festival favourite Smash Hit Plunder, Unseen Diplomacy casts you as an elite member of The British Espionage Tactical Initiative, defeating the plans of evil-doers around the world.
Anyone with even half an eye on the world of VR will know that Valve’s HTC Vive is one of the most anticipated platforms. You’ve read all the blogs, been excited by all the hype – now’s your chance to experience it first-hand!
With a real-life obstacle course created by the Vive’s incredible virtual reality environment, you will run and roll, sneak and solve your way through volcano lairs and moon bases. Go in alone or join up as a team, with squad members by your side in the Oculus Rift!
Katie Goode, Creative Director, says;
‘We wanted to make something rather special – an experience that people will not be able to have in their homes, one that they will remember for years to come. We want to take them away to make them forget it’s a game, but make them feel like real super heroes.
We are always aiming to push the boundaries of what’s possible in VR. We have spent just a month creating this experience and have a passion for social VR and awesome new player interactions. The future of VR is something that everyone can take part in, even if you are not in the device yourself.
GameCity are fantastic at supporting indie developers, and provided us a platform to launch our game, Smash Hit Plunder. We wanted to give them something special back.”
